What if I am unable to file my withholding income tax forms electronically?

For Form IL-941, you may request a waiver of the electronic filing requirement if you do not have internet access or it is a hardship to file electronically. Contact Taxpayer Assistance at 1 800 732-8866 or 1 217 782-3336 to request Form IL-900-EW, Waiver Form. Complete the waiver form and mail it to the address listed on the form. We will notify you if the waiver is approved or denied.

To request a waiver for the 2017 W-2, W-2c, and W-2G electronic filing requirement, submit a completed Form IL-900-EW-2, Electronic Filing Waiver Request for Forms W-2, W-2c, and W-2G (available for download from our website, tax.illinois.gov or by calling our Taxpayer Assistance Division at 1 800 732-8866 or 1 217 782-3336).
