Qualifications for WebFIle

You may file your tax return using IL-1040 WebFile if

• you were an Illinois resident for all of 2007.
• you (and your spouse, if filing jointly) have an Illinois Personal Identification number (IL-PIN) or, if no IL-PIN has been assigned to you, an Illinois drivers license or ID card .
  
• you do you not have business subtractions or credits from Schedule 1299-C.
  
• you are not taking a credit on Schedule CR for tax paid to another state.

If you do not meet all of these requirements, you may not use IL-1040 WebFile this year. Please consider using another electronic method to file your return or complete a paper Form IL-1040. For more information on our electronic filing options, click here.
